Marysa Sacerdote is a jeweler in Kingston, NY. All of her work is handcrafted with love using recycled metals. Marysa’s work can be found in many galleries and shops throughout the country, and she sells her creations at regional arts events and online at https://marysasacerdote.com/

Marysa Sacerdote was born and raised in New York City. In her twenties she moved to Lawrence, Kansas and founded Healing Moon, an artisan soaps and body care products company. After many years of running a successful business, Marysa sold it and returned to school at the University of Kansas, receiving her BFA in Metalsmithing in 2013. Marysa returned to NY in 2017, making Kingston her home. In addition to creating her own unique jewelry, Marysa has taught Metalsmithing classes at the Lawrence Arts Center and at Hudson Valley Silverworks.

Artist Statement 

I create a line of handcrafted jewelry inspired by nature. My work is made using recycled metals in my studio in Kingston, NY.

Making beautiful things has been a lifelong passion of mine, and making wearable art is such a joy! From very affordable and attainable items like my fun and flirty abalone earrings, to higher end gold pieces, I create work for every budget.

My inspiration comes from nature, and from all of the beauty we are surrounded by, and I am always inspired by my customers!

I work to protect and present diverse organic forms through enhancing and responding to their natural beauty. I capture this element in my jewelry by leaving raw essentials which expose the natural awe of these forms.

Many of my pieces are made to be worn every day, bringing an earthy elegance to any outfit. I also love to create statement pieces which capture the same earthy elegance.
