Artist Bio
Sewing has always been a part of my life.
I remember my grandmother cutting doll clothes patterns from newspaper by hand when I was 3 or 4 years old. My mom and her sisters were my first introduction to the world of making your own clothes. They made all of their own clothes mostly from necessity.
Also, out of necessity, I went to work in a factory in my small town and then found my way to working for an international women's couture clothing designer. At the time the dream was not to have my own business but that developed as I learned more about the industry on many different levels. I realized I love the creative side of the industry much more than the production side of it so it was time to make a change.
About 20 years ago, I started to devote all of my time to creating my own line of couture clothing and that continues to this day and I love what I do!
