Description
This lidded container is hand-woven with strips of birch bark that were sustainably harvested and processed from the artist’s forest. Weaving with hands and one traditional tool, using the plaited method, 4-6 layers of bark ensure structural integrity. The container is finished with traditional Russian embellishments. measures 10.5”h x 3”w x 3”d, 7”h at rim of bottom, lid 4.5”h
