Each hand painted butterfly is an original work of art. Choose from a variety of color options. Since each piece is unique you will not receive the exact magnet in the photo. We will choose one for you in the color you request. Butterflies are sealed with gloss, trimmed with metallic paint and mounted to a ceramic magnet. Metal hooks are included for hanging as ornaments. JuliAnn has been creating art since her mom let her finger paint while still in a high chair. She has a BFA in painting from Syracuse University. She learned the art of Batik while studying in Florence, Italy. For a number of years, she created and sold Batik clothing leading to a collaboration with her future husband making lamps and Batik lampshades whish they wholesaled to furniture and gift stores around the country. She has taught art classes for many years to children and adults and loves facilitating and sharing the joy of making art.
