Welcome to the Beekman Street Art Fair Virtual Juried Art Auction

June is here! For the past 7 years, this has always meant the Beekman Street Art Fair on the historic west side of Saratoga Springs, NY is only days away. Because of the restrictions due to the pandemic, the fair committee has been working on other ways to help artists showcase and market their work. We are coordinating an art auction showcasing the work of some of the artists who support our fair every year.

With the cooperation of Saratoga Arts, the funding of our sponsors and the hard work of ArtsSpark we are proud to bring you the Beekman Street Art Fair Virtual Juried Art Auction

Auction Opens: Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 10am EDT 
Auction Closes: Sunday, June 21, 2020 at 9pm EDT

You must register for an account on our website in order to bid. Click here to register now, or register when you decide to bid on an item.

Can I “Buy Now”?
Yes! All items have a buy now price and you can purchase the item immediately. If you have bids on an item and someone else chooses the Buy Now option, you are no longer able to bid or purchase the item. We have website and social media information for all artists who supplied it. You are welcome to contact the artist directly to see if they have another piece for you.

What is the reserve?
All our items have a reserve price, which is the price below which the item will not sell. 

Is there sales tax?
Yes. You will pay 7% (Saratoga County) sales tax on your items.

Who am I purchasing from?
You are purchasing from the artist. Payment processing is handled through the Saratoga Springs Arts District. If there is an issue with your purchase, please contact the artist directly. The Saratoga Springs Arts District will receive a commission as part of the sale. Any additional shipping fees must be handled directly with the artist.  

Can I support the Saratoga Springs Arts District in other ways?
Yes! The Beekman Street Art Fair has always been one of our biggest fundraisers, with sponsorships from Saratoga Arts and local businesses in addition to booth fees. Without the fair this year, we lose out on that revenue. You can donate directly to the Saratoga Springs Arts District here. Other ways to get involved include following us on social media (Facebook, Instagram) liking and sharing posts, attending Pop-up Events when we are able to resume those, and support local artists through their websites.
